Terms & Conditions Tip Top Relocators Pte Ltd Last Updated: 21/8/25

  1. Welcome to Tip Top Relocators Pte Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”).
    By using our website, requesting a quotation, or engaging our moving, packing, storage, or disposal services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

Please read these terms carefully.

1. Definitions

  • “Customer”, “you” – any individual or business engaging our services.

  • “Services” – moving, packing, storage, transportation, disposal, or any related work performed by Tip Top Relocators.

  • “Items” – goods, furniture, boxes, appliances, documents, or property handled by us.

2. Service Quotations

2.1 All quotations are based on the information, photos, or videos provided by the customer.
2.2 Additional charges may apply if:

  • Items are not disclosed accurately

  • Extra manpower or trips are required

  • Long carry distances or stairs are involved

  • Special handling is required

  • Delays caused by customer readiness
    2.3 Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.

3. Moving & Packing Services

3.1 Customers must ensure items are properly packed before movers arrive unless packing services are included.
3.2 Fragile or expensive items must be declared in advance.
3.3 We reserve the right to refuse moving:

  • Hazardous materials

  • Illegal goods

  • Flammable liquids

  • Items violating building regulations
    3.4 Customers are responsible for securing permits, loading bay bookings, and lift reservations with building management.

4. Dismantling & Assembly

4.1 Dismantling and reassembly of basic furniture are included only if stated in the quotation.
4.2 We are not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage

  • Wear and tear

  • Items already unstable or modified
    4.3 Certain furniture (e.g., IKEA, particle board, custom carpentry) may weaken after dismantling.

5. Storage Services

5.1 By using our storage facilities, customers agree that:

  • Storage is non-access, unless stated otherwise

  • Items must be packed safely

  • No perishables, liquids, valuables, cash, illegal items, or flammable materials are allowed
    5.2 Storage fees must be paid in advance monthly.
    5.3 Overdue payments may result in:

  • Late fees

  • Withheld items until payment is made

  • Disposal of items after 60 days of non-payment
    5.4 Tip Top Relocators is not liable for:

  • Natural wear and tear

  • Mold, rust, or humidity-related effects

  • Degradation of sensitive materials stored long-term

6. Payment Terms

6.1 Payment must be made by:

  • Cash

  • PayNow

  • Bank transfer

  • Other methods stated in the invoice

6.2 For moving jobs:

  • Full payment is required upon job completion unless stated otherwise.

6.3 For storage:

  • Monthly payment upfront

  • No refunds for unused days

6.4 Additional charges apply for:

  • Last-minute changes

  • Additional services not included in the quote

  • Parking fees, if applicable

7. Delays, Waiting Time & Cancellations

7.1 A waiting charge may apply if movers are delayed by customer issues (packing delays, keys not ready, building access not arranged).
7.2 Cancellations within 48 hours of the job may incur a cancellation fee.
7.3 Severe weather, accidents, or unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. We are not liable for losses arising from such delays.

8. Liability & Damages

8.1 We take all reasonable precautions to protect your items.
8.2 However, we are not liable for:

  • Items not packed by us

  • Damage due to poor item condition

  • Pre-existing cracks, rust, or wear

  • Damage to dismantled/reassembled furniture

  • Electronics that fail to function after relocation
    8.3 For any damages proven to be caused directly by our staff, compensation will be limited to:

  • Repair cost OR

  • Replacement cost (whichever is lower),
    up to a maximum liability cap of $200 per item or $1,000 per job, unless insurance is purchased separately.

9. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must:

  • Ensure all items are ready before movers arrive

  • Inform us of fragile or high-value items

  • Ensure safe access for movers

  • Provide accurate information for quotation

  • Be present or represented during the move

10. Prohibited Items

The following cannot be moved or stored:

  • Cash, jewellery, collectibles, or valuables

  • Alcohol and perishables

  • Explosives or flammable liquids

  • Chemicals or hazardous materials

  • Illegal goods

  • Anything restricted by Singapore law

11. Website Usage

By using our website, you agree not to:

  • Copy content without permission

  • Attempt to interfere with site functions

  • Use our contact forms for spam or misuse

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
The updated version will be posted with a new “Last Updated” date.
